Multi-Cultural Link Network, founded in 2006, is a group intent on bringing students together and promoting diversity at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Together, we explore all different languages and cultures (including food, on occasion) in an effort to facilitate understanding and improve the quality of life for fellow college and international students.

Our main goals, as a group, are activities for members, promotional events, and volunteering in and around the community.

Member Activities:
As a group, we enjoy venturing to various points of interest in San Antonio, and experiencing what the city has to offer. Being so far south, Texas is brimming with all different kinds of cultures, and opportunities. We enjoy experiencing these cultures through various styles of restaurants, landmarks, and even tourist attractions! We are always looking for new and exciting places to visit, so please leave us a note, or drop us a line via email!

Promotional Events:
As a student organization, sponsored by Residence Life, we have some of the funding we need to keep going. However, we do occasionally have to raise some ourselves. That's one of the reasons why we hold promotional events! During one of these events, MCLN attempts to spread the word about our organization, and perhaps attract new members to join us, while also benefitting our loyal, and friendly, members.

Volunteering
MCLN continually expresses an interest in the community through public events and fundraisers. While we are university-based, we do invite the general public to experience what we are all about. Just the same, MCLN seeks to volunteer to help promote diversity, not only in the university, but to our surrounding communities as well! If you know of an event you think MCLN should attend, or even just a new restaurant to try, please send us a message! Also, go ahead and sign up in the forum. Once your account is activated, you will be free to post in the Event Ideas thread. We are always looking for new and exciting things to experience, and your suggestions will help immensely.
